SoCal help! I need to keep my truck running until I get my Bronco

I'm waiting for a 2 door Black Diamond... and waiting. In the meantime, I need a working vehicle. My 2000 Nissan 4WD Xterra has a failing transmission, and with the Bronco delays I'm forced to replace it now. Ugh. I'm looking for both good sources of a reliable remanufactured transmission, and a reputable installer. I live in north San Diego County, but will travel anywhere as far as LA or the Inland Empire. If you have some good suggestions, I would be very grateful.
