I've got 3/8inch shackles from Bubba rope. I didn't feel they were too expensive, but I guess it all depends on your definition of quality and crazy money.

I have found that the good folks on B6G find some very good products at excellent prices. I've been very impressed. In any event, from my point of view, over a $100 is a bit pricey.

These are the ones. They are rated with a tag, have a high breaking strength and they have great wear protection. You can't beat them. If you are a casual off roader or a weekender there is no reason to spend more unless you just like to have the Factor 55 name.

I know this is an older post and OP probably has some by now but:
For what it is worth, I've done two recoveries (several different pulls per recovery to situate things correctly) on these, no issues or hint of failure/degradation. Probably six pulls total.

If I see any at any point I'll go with a "name brand" set and see how they hold up.
