I live on a 2000 ft gravel drive and was curious is anyone with a soft top having problems with the rear window staying clean?

Sounds like an issue every single SUV owner has with the back window… Even with a wiper blade, it’s still filthy on my Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Here’s a life hack for you: Remove rear window. The inside of your Bronco may look like a pig pen, but at least the window will be clean ;)

It will look like the inside of my Polaris ranger.

That's how exhaust fumes used to get wafted into the backs of stationwagons.

Also, a good friend of mine got burned pretty badly once when his engine bay caught fire with no back window. It pulls the flames directly into the cabin. I would seriously advise against it

Then why does this thing have removable rear windows?

At first I thought it was pathetic - but, I keep a container of baby…errr…glass wipes on board at all times. Specifically Invisible Glass…but, going to try other brands.

The top doesn't come down unless you pull them out?
My point is, if it’s unsafe to not have a rear window, why can people drive around with the windows out but the roof still up? Same with the Bestop. It can’t be that unsafe.

Your comment about exhaust is valid and I didn’t think of that, but these guys advertise being able to drive around without windows in but the top still up. Just seems odd.

Every single 4runner owner ever would disagree.

just the rear window out can be dangerous, even on a station wagon or hatch back, if you don't also have front a bit open or the fan blowing good. Less of an issue I'd think if you have all rear windows out for safari style, that should give enough wind blowing through. Or windows in the front cranked open a bit.
