Is it safe to take a soft top Bronco through a car wash?
The blower fans for drying are my biggest concern...

My biggest concern is the vinyl windows. I would say no.

I haven't gone through a car wash because of that, I'm afraid that it will scratch them badly.

I use the touch free car wash at least once a week to get the salt spray off from the treated roads. No problems with the blowers at all. Not a drop of water has come inside the cabin from the high pressure wash around the windows. The only exception is a few drops from the upper seal on the tailgate.

I have the same few drops from upper tailgate seal with Touch-free Carwash -- with there was still self use wands around my area.

I go through touch free several times a week no issues. Though some of the places have a sprayer right below the overlap of the soft top and when it uses the high pressure mode it can blow in just a small splash of water. This weak point is right at the front of rear vinyl windows where the Velcro seal stops. Other than that no issues.

I use a touch free with zero issues. The swirly bird washes would destroy the soft top windows along with your paint

My issue with the car wash is the unknown soap they use. Haartz manufactures the top material and they say not to use detergents. Detergents will strip the UV protection out of the top material and stitching and shorten the life of the top.

I just did it yesterday for the first time. Regular car wash with brushes and all. It did fine. No leaks at all. Personally won't do it often because the blower pushed down on the soft top and don't want it to get to loose with constant air pushing down on it but never got close to picking up the soft top or anything. Also soft top is very clean again lol

I've done it a bunch already... no issues. This is the full-touch with spinning brushes too, lol!

Yes the drying cycle at the end is quite windy, but it doesn't seem to affect much and the inside stayed nice and dry each time.

I've run mine in the carwash twice. But the carwash turns off the blowers when I go through. So I haven't had any leaks.

I have not checked myself. There are people here that have said in the manual it specifically says "If you have a soft top do not use touchless car wash"
Just me thinking about it, the brushes catching the soft top around the sides (Thats only held by pressure, *See "snow in my bronco post*)
then the top support bars. the automatic washer top brush may damage the support bars.

there is also... a click bait video from our gunbunny of the jeep/bronco world litebright driving the bronco hitting cross winds with the top illustrating
