I just used the brush part of the snow brush nit the scrapper. Has anyone else used a standard snow brush on their soft top plastic windows ? Well... Don't. Used a fairly soft snow brush to clear the snow off my soft top windows a week or so back and finally had the opportunity to wash my rig last weekend. Now that it's clean I see that the back window is all scratched up. It's not noticeable from inside but I sure can see the scratches from the outside.

Does anyone know how or if it's even possible to fix something like this ?

Something like Meguiar's PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish works. I have used it on my Jeep windows several times.

Those snow brushes are brutal on vehicle surfaces. Don't touch your paint with them either.

I have used Plexus on my Gen1 soft top windows for years with great results, and still use it to this day. Is it a miracle worker, no, but close. I used to use it on my motorcycle helmet visor as well.

As a mid-westerner, this concerns me. Does anyone have a soft-top friendly snow-brush recommendation?

ON my jeep, I could always just kind of hit the soft top and the snow and or ice would fall off - even better if from the inside. It's mostly vertical so not much snow or ice ever really got on them.

Use your arm? j/k

I would just tap the window from the inside and most should fall off. If you have remote start, that'll likely help too.

There's no such thing as a vehicle friendly snow brush.

Get an electric leaf blower.

Big NO NO. As I tell my wife, she is not to touch her windows with anything, even with her hand when its cold out or snowing. Period. No discussion.

Jeep owner with soft top last 9yrs.

Those clear plastic windows are very soft. Any dirt, grit, or abrasion will scratch them. Folding/rolling them against themselves in summer will scratch them. A good thump as mentioned will knock the majority off, but be mindful in the cold of not cracking them as they become somewhat brittle. In my experience, there is a lifespan on those windows. Do what you can to keep from clouding them up, and you will be at the upper end of that lifespan before looking at replacement.

I just use a leaf blower. Learned my lesson with my first black car about those snow brushes.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. It can't hurt at this point.
