Soft top rear side windows only?

We're trying to find a way to cut the noise on the highway. And I'd like to leave the very rear window out and just wonder about putting in the two rear side windows? Has anybody done that? Do they stay on okay? And does it help?

I do it often. My dog who stays in the cargo area loves it. It's a nice wind tunnel effect.
I don't think it cuts down on the noise however. Sorry

Wasn't figuring to attach it....just run on the highway with the sides on, then pull them off once we get off the big road.
