Soft top separating / splitting / tearing issue!?! (Update. It got even worse!!)

Mine has been at the dealer for 3 days now. Service rep texted me that they completed the Ford recommended glue repair, and it has already begun peeling again. He said he is re-submitting to have the top replaced.
If Bestop made a square back top I would have already bought one.

Lol,yes gorilla glue has worked for many. That will be my route if it happens to me.

So for my experience, my 21 OBX soft top is peeling in 3 places (front by the latches, middle, and rear). I brought to my dealer and they were told by @Ford Motor Company to apply some glue.

Needless to say, this lasted for 2 days before the heat of Southern Louisiana made it peel again, and now it's gotten worse. When opened half way, it flaps in the wind, making the peeling worse. Not sure what the fix is here and my dealership hasn't got any word from Ford since bringing it in June. A replacement top would be nice but not if it's going to do the same thing.

What's the plan @Ford Motor Company?

The Ford rep through contact on this forum has been working with my dealer and I guess the answer Ford has come up with is two sided tape. I should be taking it in next week and we’ll see if it works.

Received this yesterday. Dealer attempted repair. It peeled again before I could come to pick it up. Dealer has ordered a replacement top.

Whelp. This is happening to me too. I was about to start a thread, but looks like this is a pretty common thing. I'm in Texas heat and humidity and have the door and side/back panels off of the top most days.
I have an appointment with the dealer on the 20th, we'll see what they say.

I can push it back up with my hand and it will look good for about 10-20 minutes of driving.

No. They said they ordered a new top, but they say it is still on backorder. I bought some Gorilla Glue Adhesive Spray as someone on here suggested. It fixed it perfectly and has held up to the Texas heat and humidity.

ever since I did the gorilla glue have had no issues. Lot easy than dealing with a dealer.

Dealer installed the tape yesterday and it failed already this morning before pickup. They contacted Ford, and a new top has been ordered for replacement.

Someone did a write-up (maybe somewhere in this thread), but I think when it comes time I’ll get some painter’s plastic sheet, cover everything inside and just spray away…
