So if someone has asked this already, just direct me to the answer without yelling at me. Thanks. šŸ˜‰ I am ā€œre-orderingā€ my 2 door big bend bronco for 2022 and checking the order against the Ford website with the Bronco build tool. Is the soft top twill a new option? Would I get my Bronco faster if I paid $2400 for this or is this in addition to the hard top? It says it ships separately and is a dealer installed option - because really Iā€™d buy that if it meant my bronco gets moved up the production line. I just donā€™t remember seeing it in my original choices when I first built it. I saw herd of Broncos at the Texas state fair and most of them had soft tops - the Ford rep said they were all custom. Dang, you could send me the bronco with no top and Iā€™d get a soft top made if it meant Iā€™d get it in 2022. Thank you!

The soft top twill is an additional accessory. It's the Bestop top and would be in addition to your hardtop. You won't get that instead of the hardtop, you'll get it in addition to your hardtop.
Thank you, 2100!

And one of the reasons 2021 2 doors were held up is there was no factory softtop only option like they offered for our 4 doors

If they offered the soft top on the 2 door I would jump on it to expedite my order.

Only issue is that 2 Door soft top does not go all the way down. Looks like it just sits in that folded back position on top of the rear of the frame. less than desirable IMHO. I would have to fully close it and re open it every time I enter and depart my garage as the added height probably would not clear my garage door. The 4 door, because it folds down (still impedes rearview mirror viewing) at least lets me put it down and come and go as I please. I was all in on the after market softtop until I learned this. Kind of sucks because now if I am out an about and it rains, the hard top will be hanging in my garage. Need to come up with a game plan. Maybe a more water resistant bikini top along with a cover....In my opinion another benefit of the 4 door for everyday convenience.

This. I want a soft top for the 2 door as well, but the offering on the B&P is not a solution for me since it doesn't go all the way back.

And unless I'm missing something, this is actually made by Bestop, which is available for pre-order from Bestop at $1,699 in Twill vs $2,480 on the B&P, so I assume the price is messed up on the B&P and I suppose the price error is already noted on the forum somewhere!

The price difference includes the installation as it is a DIO accessory. Still likely not worth the added cost as doing it yourself. The other benefit of including it in your order is to roll it into the financing. IMO, one is better off getting it later.

I didn't know it would sit high. My garage would be a problem as well. I will more than likely go with the bestop as well. I would still be tempted to get it from Ford if it would hurry my order though. šŸ˜

I may be wrong, but I think the one on the B&P is the Bestop one.
