Got board and was wondering what most people were going for, personally I will be probably going for the hard top, oddly enough I love the weird bulkyness to it and even the roof rails

Hardtop here. Once mine comes off in April it stays stored 'till Halloween!

Exa
hardtop is 7 piece modular. One person removal and probably can store in vehicle if doors are not in oven. No reason for soft top ?
Exactly my thought, as I will be taking it off a lot and don't have a lot space to store entire roof like jeeps this is perfect for me

Hard top.

Plus all the other tops because I'm a weapon's grade consumer and I love options.
Of course, I still think they should do a roadster editon that's has no doors and no roof with no air con and no radio, would i buy it; no, would anyone else; also no, but they should still do it ?

So I have dual top group on my JKUR. When it is hot, or cold the hard top is on. Spring or fall it’s on a hoist and the soft top is on. Off road the trail is usually dusty enough that the top stays up. Same on the beach to keep the sand out.

If I were buying a new JL or Gladiator today, I would get it with a hard top and sound insulation, and consider one of the convertible sunrider inserts for the freedom panels and/or one of the aftermarket frameless soft tops.

That said, the first two summers I drove around with the windows off but the convertible top up for shade.

On a related note: They better do a fantastic job of weather-proofing the interior. Granted it was easy to waterproof my JP BUT:
- The carpet no longer exists because removed in 2011
- Had to buy (wet okole) waterproof seat covers...twice
- Twice I lost radio power (in 20 yrs - 2 jeeps) due to driving rain but when dry, always came back
I have high expectations for the Bronco
