Well, there isn't a trunk, but all 4 doors will fit in the back. That has was stated at the release and there are photos out there.
As I understand it the doors will fit, but the MIC top will not. I believe the panels above the passenger areas will fit with the doors (if I recall, I have not researched so don't kill me over this!) but the MIC portion over the cargo area cannot be broken down any further.

Which is why I like the soft top. Don't want to keep asking my wife to help me take off the back of the hardtop all the time and then have to put it back on (won't likely permanently have it off due to weather in Michigan being unpredictable) when done. But the soft top doesn't work with the roof rack (I have cargo, bikes, kayaks) Ah!

We've heard yes.
To which part?
1. That you only get the hookups if you order the hard top from factory?
or
2. That they hookups come with the soft and you can add the hard top later?

Sorry if this is clear elsewhere but I've not seen this answer, dealers don't seem to know for sure and it will definitely impact a lot of choices. TIA.

Thanks, what is it called if not a trunk? Cargo area?

How difficult will it be to transition from MIC to soft top, depending on seasons? I'm considering both as well.
Hmm I don’t think we can be sure until they share a video, but if you compare to Jeep, removing the hard top correctly with help and proper tools shouldn’t be too long. I’ve never installed a soft top, but I assume that process is tougher since there are more pieces. I watched a Jeep video where a “pro” took about an hour to attach the Soft Top. Good news is the doors on the Bronco is supposed to be a lot easier to remove!

Have we received any official indication that Ford plans to offer a black MIC top in the future?

Same question for color matched.

I know that the black shadow modular is late delivery aka next year. But what about the color & black MIC?

Thanks.

The MIC is only available in the color that we've seen. There is no talk of producing Black or any other color MIC (other than early prototyping while they were still settling on the final color).

Black modular is late availability MY21. White modular is MY22.

I believe latest word was color matched modular is late availability MY21.

For the JL owners out there who drive around in the winters with the soft top. What about salt and all the chemicals from the roads? Do the tops hold up well? Also, what about car washes? I like to hit the car wash frequently during the winter to keep the salt at bay.

Is there a definitive answer to this? I've asked a few people who say this but no one has an answer where it came from only that the heard/read it somewhere.
