Solar panels on a rooftop tent?

I like the idea of having solar panels on a hardshell rooftop tent, so it can charge my power station while driving. I’m wondering about the best way how to get the cable from the panels into the car. Any ideas?

I've been thinking of doing something similar, but I haven't found one that is a connector & a aerodynamic fairing.

But this would work, unless you wanted a pass though with a pigtail hanging out of the fairing.
