Is Curt 56468 the correct part number ( it’s $71 from summit but it’s $57 from NAPA) the NAPA one only list’s Ranger?

Yes - that is the correct part number for the wiring harness. I did not need to modify the wiring system for the Badlands (LED vs Halogen) - and didnt need to cut/ground the red wire.

Well Hell. I followed the video from Budget Bronco and grounded the red wire. The instructions weren't that clear as to the need to ground the stupid brake wire. No surprise, but everything works except brake lights. Easy(ish) fix, because I left enough wire behind the brake light to splice it back in. The whole idea made NO sense to begin with.🙄😡🤪
