I dunno. I know that I have to drive home afterwards. Way too cold to be messing up my ride and having to sit around and wait for a tow truck. I'm gonna take mine on some pretty gnarly trails, but don't plan to beat it mercilessly.

Cool vid, fun to watch others do it. lol

Its okay to have fun ad break things offroading. As long as you are used to fixing things. For the bolt-on bumper crowd, slow walking the dry dusty ass desert is just fine. But whomping around and getting dirty, giving it some thottle is just a dang good time. About destroying it. The best part about the wet, mud and snow is its soft. It rarely breaks things until you get super wild. I cant imagine how pissed I would be if I broke an axle bound up in rocks a while not even moving.

But to each their own. This Bronco owner will ride on in glory.
You're right. It's not my money... They can do whatever they want with theirs.

Hopefully they're not going to be posting threads saying the suspension is not good enough or the rack is weak for jumĆ³ in the mud and snow.

Awesome vid. That definitely looked like a buckin' Bronco on that jump! :D

Would be interested to know if anything broke when the rear quickly made contact with the ground that hard. Is that a Badlands?

Oh man, loved that! It was like a wild horse running around out there. I especially enjoyed it because it wasnā€™t mine. I like seeing others stress test the crap out of these rigs.

When it comes to water fording, the rated depth is when your moving slowly. Going fast through water throws all that water up into the engine compartment. No bueno.

Stilled loves this video. Glad the bronco made it home on its own four wheels.

Looks fun and alright to me until I see the jump.

I've never owned an off-road vehicle, but I could imagine that jump is not good for the suspension components... Mine is pushing 60k, not a chance I would hoon it like that.

Glad the B6G police are on the scene to teach that guy a lesson on how he should operate a vehicle he paid for and is now using how he wants and having fun.

Did the new account button here accidentally get linked to the sign up page for the Toyota Yaris ownerā€™s forum?
There is a difference between abusing and enjoying something. The point of myself and others is this isnā€™t the operating parameters this thing was designed to operate in. A trophy truck would be hard pressed to hold up. The point is when this thing breaks and it will the owner will probably be crying that it broke and ford wonā€™t warranty it. You are right it their property itā€™s just a shame they are to dense to realize itā€™s not built to do that and that isnā€™t off-roading. Thatā€™s driving around like a moron in mud.

Thatā€™s driving around like a moron in mud.
Driving around like a moron in the mud is how most people get introduced to off-roading and, like it or not, it is how most 4x4 manufacturers choose to show off the capabilities of their trucks (see the multitude of annoying TV commercials showing trucks driving at high speed down muddy tracks.)
