It helps it's all about how far the bar is from the grill, how fast and how big the animal is.

That's a Ram truck with a moose in its engine bay and I have seen much worse than this sadly

I was riding with 3 friends on big dirt bikes we were on the paved part of the route and a deer did this,tough little critters usually slide around and then run off,both guys with me broke legs.

Whoever was driving that was very lucky the moose pulled the hood up in the collision, otherwise the moose could‘ve gone throug the windscreen. Close call.
