It's coming this way, a rare event for southeast NC too. I'm originally from the northeast so not really impressed by the amount we're goin to get, but I haven't seen a good snowfall since moving to NC in 2010.

Yeah my friends out by Tickfaw and New Orleans had around 8+ inches. Here in the Hill Country we had maybe 1/2 inch, it's like it just started here and barreled East and smoked Houston East to Louisiana and further. Crazy!

I can't remember too many times where Baton Rouge got snow like that and Shreveport didn't.
