I have tried to do my homework but still want to hear what this group has done. I started to sound deaden the Bronco. Not so much to cut out road noise since it seems most noise is through the roof - but to reduce vibration from the speakers. I fully covered the back cargo floor and doubled up where the downfire sub goes. I was starting to do near the kick speaker but noticed there is really no exposed metal except behind the speaker. It also looks like Ford has a little sound deadening material under the carpet the footwells. I was not going to do the doors since there are no speakers in them.

What are all of your thoughts?

I’ve got somewhere just shy of 7 acres of polyfill and the remains of an old foam bed roll stuffed behind every cheap plastic panel in the trunk area and into any crevice I could get a finger into just to try and stop the rattles created by my puny kicker 8”. Have it down to a low roar

Doesn't look like they make one for the Ford Bronco yet.

They make one for the 4 door soft top. Head Liner
Thanks! I didn't see it on their site before. I am still interested in how people sound deaden the car from the vibration of the speakers.

I used this on my FJ cruiser. It worked great. I plan on using It on my 68 Mustang when the time comes. Als Heat and Noise

I’ve got a JTop mesh shade on my 4 door and I just bought a foam mattress topper to put in between the mesh and soft top. A world of difference in road noise.

Are you still using the mesh top + foam mattress combo? Did it only help with wind noise or do you think it helped absorb some road noise as well? I have an old mattress laying around and am debating trying this out to see if it'll help

For that particular top, the foam was too heavy. Started to pull off the Velcro so I’m not using either anymore.

Not sure I remember well enough to differentiate between road and wind noise. It certainly made it quieter in the cab.

I wallpapered my two door with killmat.
Doing a rear seat delete also.
Tow inch riser for the four door security drawer in the back.
I did not install any in the doors...yet.

How thick was the foam you used? I am considering this simply for longer road trips. I have a mesh shade that bungees in not velcro.

I think 3”. It’s bundled up in my garage somewhere. I’ll find it and make sure.

Do you have any plans to do anything similar for the roof, or has this made enough difference it doesn't matter? Awesome pic, can't imagine how much work that would be!
