Now that I got a good look at these pictures. I can see why Ford may want to just include the Sound Deafening. That application looks complicated!

Reminds of a sunshade start up I had to help with back in the day at Aisin for Toyota sunroofs! The stig and I had a convo about this! I bet it's easier and faster putting the two together. Then doing the application second. Bet it slows assembly waaay down! Bet we see B and P reflect that later on!

Definitely looks like a DIY add-on. Hopefully the production version is better.

I think it looks good, but how does it compare to how a typical Hothead Headliner installation would look? I can’t imagine doing it myself with Hothead would look as good, but I don’t have any experience with Hothead.
It looks like better coverage than the HotHeads. I guess I'll be ordering these.

Thanks, hotheads for SURE. I thought maybe they’d have a custom snap in or something cool like that. Nope. Sound deadening material cut to fit. It’s fine, that’s what deadener is so it’s not like Ford screwed up. But hotheads will look just as good, maybe better and be cheaper.

Looks like that same chincy carpet they are putting on the back of my MGV “weather-proof” seats. No thanks.

Thanks to the OP for making my decision easy!

I was expecting a thick foam like we'd get on the UTVs we rent
