I read on here that a .75" spacer will work on the SAS rim. Been searching for awhile and finding mixed info, will that be enough to clear 37" Baja Boss ATs? I'm assuming I'd still need the max clearance kit. I don't want to buy new rims, I don't see the need since a spacer accomplishes the same thing. Frontend has Icon CDEVs, Icon UCA, BB Hoss3 rack and Spicer axles, ready for 37s.

Did you put the functional beadlock rings or are you still using the cosmetic ones?

I thought the wheels “recesses” were deep enough for the bolts on .75” spacers?? But couldn’t really find .75” one so have 1” ones waiting for 37” probably this spring…party on!!

See below for my previous answers regarding 0.75" spacers and Squatch wheels. But i guess you could always change out the rear studs

Are there measurement's available on the "stud pockets" on the rear side of Squatch wheels? I ask because I measured the the pockets on the optional BL wheels and they are only 5/16" (0.3125") deep. The rear studs on my BL measure 1-3/16" (1.1875"). Meaning studs would protrude 7/16" (0.4375") beyond a 3/4" spacer and most likely bump the back of the pocket.

I am thinking a 0.75" spacer would require trimming the rear studs about 1/8"

Installed my Bora 1" spacers on my wife's BL with opt wheels. The spacers on the front were flush with the studs. On the rears, the studs pokes beyond the spacer 3/16"

I've been running 0.75" spacers and have not had to cut down the studs. It's tight, but there was enough clearance and I have seen no indication that there is interference.

Edit: I think the Sasquatch wheels are the only OEM wheels that can clear the studs with the 0.75" spacer.

I cleared 37 MTs with the spacers and no lift except for some minor rubbing at full stuff/lock.

You will need about 1.2 inch spacers if you do not want to have to cut your wheel studs. At least that is what I found out. I ended up buying 0 offset wheels.

Just say no to spacers!!
I just dropped at least $17K in suspension/steering/drivetrain parts and PPF, wheels have to wait. Spacers are fine if they're installed correctly and hub centric, no different than offset wheels. Eventually I'll get the Icon Recon Pros.

Thanks to those that replied! Seems my confusion on what spacers fit SAS rims is warranted, still confused so maybe I'll meet in the middle with 1"?!

@cgv , you got it to work, since you still rub would you recommend 1" instead? Do you have a lift and how wide are your tires? I'll planning to run 2.5" lift over SAS and I do have the Icon shock spacers they recommend for 37s, not excited to lose wheel travel.

@Jsb , did you have SAS wheels and the studs didn't clear the divots in the wheel? Or was your goal to keep the studs flush?

I had SAS wheels and the studs stuck out slightly with 1 inch spacers and I did not want to trim the wheel studs. You would not be able to mount your wheels to a flat surface without trimming the wheel studs as they stick out past the 1 inch spacers. They do make 1.2inch spacers which will work if you do not want to buy new wheels. I ended up buying 0 offset Icons and love them.

This is simply not true. Just because the studs stick out from the spacer doesn't mean you have to cut them. There are pockets on the back-side of the sasquatch wheels that clear the studs.

That may be true, but in my case when I went to mount the wheel it did not feel right, like the surface was not totally flat. Maybe their are slight variances in the length of wheel studs from Ford. Beyond my knowledge.
