The real question is how many times have you gotten a flat and had to use the spare? Personally, my last flat was on the 01 Tacoma when I hit a curb. The Jeep LJ never got a flat. I think the off road tires are less susceptible to road damage like street tires. I guess it is where you live.

Geez TX, can we give it a rest already. I meant what I said. Poseurs make vehicles more expensive and harder for enthusiasts to get their hands on. The Bronco Sport was made for those who want to take it easy, so even Ford has called out posing.

We don't have to agree on anything. If I don't like it, then I don't like it and I'm not alone here.

All of this talk about what everyone has a right too, whatever. Sure, you can, but there may be consequences to what people choose to do as well, if you accept them, great.

Man, you're so tough, I bet even your keyboard is trail rated.....

Always find it funny when people want to tell others how to do their own thing and if they don't do it the same then they are 'wrong'. This is American, the Bronco is American made and the spirit of the thing is to do what the eff you want with it. I certainly don't want to see every Bronco on the road look just like mine.

...but, mine will be a trail rig and I have needed spares multiple times on trail runs. Especially when you run low PSI with no bead locks and can't use break cleaner successfully to get the bead back on.

I’m pretty sure it is covered for privacy by that white square on the left.

I rarely have the spare in my Tacoma for around town use. Went many years without a flat. Then this summer I got a nail/screw in 3 different vehicles. You never know.

The Bronco was designed to carry a 35" tire.
Since 35" tires are a factory option.

Wranglers still need the the reinforced tailgate hinges because the Rubicon uses 33" tires.
Jeep can therefore charge a premium for the optional factory reinforced tailgate.
FCA fucks it's customers again.

I don't get the whole idea of removing it. It's legacy. If you don't like it, Don't buy it. Last time I checked, Subaru spares are stored out of sight and out of mind. I'm sure that there is a dealer near you.

I'm sure they will make one. I wonder his much better it will make the Bronco look ? Don't get new wrong.....it looks good on it.
The other day I was behind a Wrangler and they deleted the Spare tire. Had some funky license plate holder in it place. I was thinking to myself, why the heck would someone want to do that and what happens if they get a flat tire. ?
