Spare Tire Rear Gate Mount 37" Tire

Hello,

Looking at the rear gate / spare tire mount with factory bumper on a Sash w/35". It doesn't look like 37" tire will fit into the rear bumper and the 3rd brake light bracket will need to be extended.

Thoughts...

I am planning on replacing the rear bumper. Thx...

My first upgrade will be removing those ugly Sasquatch wheels with a nice set of aftermarket ones. This will give the aftermarket time to catch up and I can install 37" once the factory 35" are bald.

So, if you plan on running 37s and plan on getting a new rear bumper, why aren't you already looking at a bumper mounted swing out mount? I think plenty of us will be going that route for long term reliability.

That crossed my mind as well... but then I wondered if it had to do with the aftermarket press embargo until the first 100 units roll off the line?

Honestly, didn't get that far. The upgrades I've found are "Stage 3 Motorsport" parts an pieces. Their site let's you build your bronco with the parts. My current ft./Rr. Bumpers was what they currently had. Most sites haven't released specific parts for the 2021 Bronco. Any recommendations?

No recommendations as of yet. Most of the smaller fabricators that are making awesome bumpers now will add for the Bronco once they get one for fitting. It may take 6 months after deliveries start, but rest assured by the end of this year there will be some great choices out there.

Absolutely!!! I've been looking at the performance upgrades for the 2.7 but cant pull the trigger till it proven for the bronco. Tires, steps and lights are simple as soon as it arrives. Christmas should be good...
