Spare Wheel Brake Light LED Ring

I've seen several Wranglers in my area that have taken the 3rd brake light off and replaced it with a ring of LEDs that are mounted on the spare wheel mount prior to the spare wheel being mounted. I'm considering doing this to my Bronco (if/when they become available) because I think it looks cleaner than the stock option, especially if it's like this one that functions as run/brake/turn/reverse.
Do any of you have experience with this type of mod, and if so, is it worth it?

There's a girl where I live that has it on her jeep. Kinda looks like shit in person. Might as well add some color lights under your bronco too and just complete the look . But, it's your bronco and if you like then go for it

Those don't look bad. Just remember that you won't be able to have a cool custom spare wheel cover with those lights.

I was, but not finding much for the Sasquatch 35's that I like without going custom, which is one reason I was considering this as a possible option.

My suggestion is, just make sure it's OK with your state DMV for you to remove the third brake light. IDK for sure, but I expect mine wouldn't pass inspection here in North Carolina without the factory third light.

Now, as far as doing it I say, it's your Bronco. Do as you like, and enjoy the ride.
