Per this post from Ford CEO, seems the trend will continue with special editions. See LinkedIn post attached. Not that this is surprising news, but good to hear that the current model seems to only be refined and interior options are being considered.

The Tremor package is reserved for other vehicles in the Ford fleet. Conversely, the Sasquatch package is reserved for the Bronco (ignoring the Bronco Sport bastardization).

As an aside, renaming the Adrenaline Rush package as the Sasquatch package has to be the greatest marketing decision that Ford has done. Some buyers only option the package not for the function and capability but because of the cool marketing term. If it had remained as the Adrenaline Rush package, the take rate would be much lower.

I think adrenaline rush was always meant to be a code name though, wasn’t it?
Because it’s still listed many places like other similar code names are. Like warthog for example.

Who knows how the decisions are made. Some names get supplanted yet linger in reference manuals, parts catalogs. Yet, other names like Warthog was bound to be supplanted with Raptor.

I get why Ford extended the Raptor brand. It is established. But they had the opportunity to buck the establishment and make the Bronco and it's lineup stand on it's own. The Warthog should have been retained. The Raptor brand is tired and long in the tooth. When the Maverick, Mustang, et. al. co-op the Raptor brand then that will be the proverbial Fonzi jumping the shark.

If I had to predict, I'd say Big Oly.
Big Only would have to be based on the Raptor trim or make it a street legal version of the DR with the coyote. I don't know how widespread a $100k Bronco (as I describe it) is anything more than a halo truck for Ford but if they truly limit the numbers they'll sell them all.

So far the Bronco special editions haven't been big sellers ... First Edition was supposed to be limited to 7k (I think), don't know if they finished them all though. The early HEs are more rare than the 1966x2 copies of the HE-L and the Everglades probably not much more than that. The Freewheeling is probably going to be the lowest take rate out of all Ford special editions and who knows about the Stroppe at it's price level!

Ford kinda screwed themselves by using previous EB Bronco trim levels as product names i.e. Explorer, Ranger, Sport about the only ones not used are special decor group which is now just a blackout package and then the Eddie Bauer ... what other heritage names are left?

So that leaves the modern names: Raptor, already used; Tremor, already mentioned won't be used; King Ranch, maybe, definitely more high end than an Eddie Bauer and would sell to those wanting luxury but Ford would need to work on noise levels.

I'm all for special editions but would be nice just to have the current trim and option packages make sense first before they confuse their customers more with special editions. Bring back fun colors, keep the manual, 2 door and engine options available to all trims or at least more attainable than the Stroppe. Work seriously on the quality and reliability of what they're producing to match the sticker price.

Well stated. I concur, not sure what additional models may be in store. I hope MY25 is not an indicator of the direction with limiting options. I'd prefer less trims if that meant more colors, of course it doesn't work this way. If it wasn't for the HE, I may have interest in the Stroppe as it reflects the legacy of the Bronco which appeals to me, I understand that's a small market. Seems Ford is trying to cast a large net with little fish for the return with these specialty trims.

Farley's post reads like my grandmother trying to tell me that eating brussel sprouts was fun and they'd make me grow up big and strong... she knew she was pushing something nobody wanted... lack of colors, a bajillion restrictions, no 3.0L two-door, a four-door ONLY hEriTAgE eDiTioN Ford Flex 2.0

"No boring products" right...

I like the King Ranch edition idea if the seats look like the original promos and like the older King Ranch seats that smelled so good... like you killed the cow yourself!

Get the band back together, SVT, and make a 3.0L or 3.5L EcoBoost (only because you have to sell it to the EPA) TWO-DOOR with a beefed-up 7-speed manual, portals, D60s/equivalent, and 40s. No doors, no top, bimini optional. A special edition that will be coveted for 20-30+ years.

Expect a King Ranch edition.
Not sure why some found the comment funny. The King Ranch used to be the domain of the F Series trucks, but has since expanded to other vehicles in the Ford fleet. Back in 2021 @Kos posted a thread discussing the possibility and in 2024 the King Ranch Explorer finally became available.

About 10 months from the above linked discussion, a glitch in the Matrix on the shop.ford.com domain caught Ford's Rockstars using the Bronco emblem on a mashup of the King Ranch feature set for the SD trucks.
