As someone pointed out in the thread on the actual forum from that link in the op, I was very excited about this when it was first announced, but my excitement has certainly waned.

The Scout announcement took away the last bits of interest I had in this. If Hummers had a bit better range, I'd consider one. The Scout checks off all the boxes I'm interested in (though I'd still rather have a removable top option instead of just the targa top thing).

The only thing I like better about this, is the smaller size compared to the scout.

Still holding out for a Bronco PHEV option though. If it's not around by the time the scout is out, I'll go with the scout.

It doesn't look awful, but has some ques from the Bronco Sport IMHO. That said, an electric only car is useless as a replacement to one that produces it's own energy.
What vehicles are you claiming produce their own energy ?

At this rate, Jeep will be bankrupt within next 5-7 years. Guess then VW will buy them and bring back as an EV with a lawnmower engine attached…..

Very Bronco Sport and will need some appearance package work to make it attractive.

However, if this is basically a Bronco Sport with removable parts, the Sport is in trouble, just not sure many here would care or miss it, but today it sells decently.

Internal combustion engines do not produce energy.
They convert fuel from it's potential energy into kinetic energy and heat. Batteries are similar except they are not "generating" the energy like the fuel does in an internal combustion engine. The battery is storing the enrgy to be converted to kinect enegery. I realize you are happy to be in basic high school general sciences but come one this is still basic stuff.

You are just making stuff up.

The amount of EV hate in this thread is just plain stupid.

Now I know you don't know what any of that means. Thanks for playing.
