Absolutely ,that 2.7 in sport mode when the turbos kick in is unbelievable. Thought i was in my Mustang there for a minute.

You have to remember, that the 2.7 in a 2 door OBX has between 85-90% of the HP/Weight of a 2006 SN-95 Mustang Cobra (305 HP). It's not going to be a slouch. The 4 door is a little slower and the Sasquatch a little slower still... but hardly slow.

Now my OBX... It's 4319 pounds, until I pull the doors and top off. Then it will be more like 4150.

4150/330 - 12.6 lbs/HP that should roll out well.

A little graphic to put that in perspective too.

That's not too shabby

Felt the same way about it in my 2.3mt. Get my 2.7 in a week or two, fingers crossed. Can’t wait to try sport mode.
jNice, don't forget the Manual mode and the "Paddle" shifting button on the shift column. Nice bit of motor braking when needed. Also works in "D".

Yeah it's unbelievable how many people think they can emulate sports mode. They have no idea that it does so much more than shift points.

My current car has a tune that's linked to sports mode. Talk about a change when you push a button :)

im not a huge fan of sport mode.. Maybe im not used to chilling at 3000 rpms just crusing? I dont know what it is, internally im like " okay shift" and it doesnt. Ive also noticed the turbo doesnt spool up as much on sport, its all rpm and shift changes.

Shoot, if it's that sporty on 35`s, I can't wait to see how it goes on the Black Diamond 32's!

Ah, I wouldn't think 6 pound difference in tire weight is going to set off fireworks. But it will help...

Negative... Just Baja LOL, you need OBX or lower to get that sweet, sweet sport mode.

Im not sure it will be the same
I'm not sure it's exactly the same, but when I looked at the table comparing GOAT modes it did the same basic things. It's a pretty amazing change in performance.

So a few folks have hinted at it, and I’m sure there are threads dedicated to it, but for those without sport mode, I’d there any backend magic to get it?
FE was what I wanted and ordered (still waiting) but sport mode plucks my magic twanger and I want it!

You know that I am going to try to find out... mostly because I want to add Baja mode.
