Ouray is amazing. The only place I've really been in CO. I spent some time riding my bike there. Black Bear Pass, through Telluride, Imogene Pass, etc. Incredible....though it was brutal climbing on a bike. Hopefully, I can get back there with bike and Bronco.
I was in Ouray in 2008 at the FJ Summit in my 07 TRD FJ with 33"s and a 3" lift. 5 days of 4-wheeling the most beautiful trails. I am planning on going back with the Bronco ;).

We stop every time/year we are out there at Loveland to get a pick with the daughter by the sign. I have hiked a bit of the trail but did not know there was part that you could drive on?

Hope to be at Keystone over the laborday weekend...if Covid and plague stays away.

Hotel Broncos testing in mountains in Colorado. They arenā€™t anything we havenā€™t seen before, just in a different setting. (Before you ask yes these are squatchā€™ed out lol)

More photos after their run:

Itā€™s a beautiful place to live! I love the mountains and the trails. Iā€™m so excited to get my Bronco to go explore more areas here!

Lived in Leadville for 15 years... Did a lot of the Colorado trails from Penrose, Silverton/Ouray, Montrose, Grand Junction to Holy Cross...

I miss these sights! Moved the Pacific Northwest and it I miss the Colorado Mountains.

I hate how much I love that Cactus Gray. Iā€™m trying to hold strong for Area 51, which I think is going to be a disappointing color.
same thoughts here, Area 51 might be disappointing but holding out for it

I was/am so sick of black/gray/silver/white vehicles, I was sure I was getting a blue or red Bronco.
Then I saw CG, and now I'm not so sure....
Damn you Ford, damn you!

Adding this to the first post as well... Even though that rear tire isnā€™t touching the ground, it seems to be pretty decent flex for a stock vehicle thatā€™s leaning to the drivers side.

the carbonized gray roof doesn't look as strange when the fenders and bumper are covered in dirt

FWIW, this weekend I saw a 4 door (catus grey or area 51) on I70 going west, he got off at Dillon exit. There was a 2 door (cyber orange) that got off at the Leadville exit. Both had 35's, both covered in mud. The 2 door can scoot pretty good at high altitude (yeah turbos), I was following and had to drop my Z into 4th to get around him on an uphill section.....

I must say with the naked eye the 4 door looked better proportional then the 2 door (seems the other way in pictures), however the 2 door looks like a serious wheeling machine.

An interesting item, both had their driving lights on (outer ring and dash of headlight), when they used their turn signals, they alternated flashing with the blinker, must have been low on fluid... :)
