Squirrels taste mostly like chicken with a bit of a pork chop twist. They need to be parboiled to tenderize them before rolling in flour and fried in a cast iron skillet.

When life deals you lemons........make lemonade.

I have far too many stories of squirrels doing damage, and I'm talking thousands of dollars over the years, although never to a car. Always my house, the last time was a outside pavilion by the pool that I had wired up, I guess he didn't care for my lighting or my wiring and ate through both.

But yes they are a$$holes.

On a side note, I'm waiting for an aftermarket console partial adaptor to come out that connects to the under seat vents and get air to the back seats. No step my ass...
Do you have a link to adapter?

Well I'm not leaving the top off overnight anymore...

Squirrels got to the top piece of my center console. No other damage but annoying to say the least. Anyone know how I get a replacement? Go to my dealer or anywhere I can order it from?

Squirrels ate the lower trim around my GTI. Had to put bitter apple spray on it to stop them. Crazy but true

A squirrel chewed thru both wiring harnesses to the left and right side marker/turn signal lights, then demolished the wiring harness for the air-conditioning system. All told, about $1400 in parts/labor to set everything right. How do I know it was squirrels? We found the furry insurgent was also caching walnuts in different locations in the engine bay. The car was my daily driver so all this occurred during overnight hours while the car was in the driveway. Solution? 100 percent overnight storage in the garage. Also, 40-grain .22LR CCI ammo.

I think this is the year that I finally take the pellet gun with me to the dear stand. They've been chewing up my cushions and straps for years, seeing this has finally pushed me over the edge. They WILL ALL DIE.... It's time for tree-rat Armageddon.

I have a problem in my Garage with mice. There must be millions around because the poison I put out does nothing. They eat it like candy a couple die and they just keep coming. It's a real PITA.

I guess that's what happens when you live out in the woods. 🤷‍♂️

Cat, lots of cats...

I have the same problem, we have mice get in the house all of the time. Our house is basically in a hay field though so not a lot we can do about it.

I agree, at night it's more likely to be mice they are everywhere and nocturnal, squirrels are skiddish and hide from predators when the sun goes down.
