the mounting hardware is the same.

Only difference with the kits now are the back-light feature (and the wire harness for the back light).

As mentioned by @j_marinelli our ditch light kits include our standard amber backlight feature. This kit includes a 4-pin wiring harness.

If you bought standard SS3 LED pods without a backlight, you would just need a 2-pin wiring harness.
