The check engine light is already on but it's an easy fix. Just like in my trusty Explorer just get a piece of electrical tape to put over it. Or in my old F250 plow truck, put your pack of cigarettes on the dash in front of it.

Don’t have a lot of time now to make this post but I’ll add this photo to the mix. I wasn’t allowed to go up myself, but Rebecca (the very kind and knowledgeable product specialist who has a Badlands ordered for herself) was nice enough to let me know she’s 5’4” and didn’t feel the need to add the step for her non Sasquatch Badlands but had no issue hopping into this one either. I’ll update this with more thoughts and pics later unless someone beats me to the points I’d make.

Edit: In person vs online take: the MIC top wasn’t quite as dark as I’d hoped. I asked and was told this was a recent build and likely very close to production. From some angles it looked perfect to me. From others it looked more gray. I’m getting carbonized gray so it’s not really going to bother me. If you get a chance to see for yourself in person, I recommend it.

Part of what kept me at Black Diamond instead of Badlands was the orange stitching (not the main part - that was price and I don’t need the extra stuff the comes with it). It is far less jarring in person. To the point where I doubt I’d have noticed it enough to dislike it at all. Am I still happy I’m getting blue stitching instead of orange? Sure. But it seemed worth mentioning.

For those focused on the rear camera, I took a picture of how much it juts out past the tire. Never really an issue for me but I know some people on here have commented on it and am including it in case it helps them.

Lastly: the Bronco is replacing my Challenger. I LOVE my Challenger. I have never seen another vehicle that hit me the way my Challenger does when I walk up to it. Until today.

I would assume they'll be roped off like at all other shows. If you want to sit in them, make an appointment for the Ball Park Village event.
The Broncos at Ballpark Village are on the parking lot side of the complex and sitting outside. So i understand your want to be inside and to avoid crowds, it was well worth sitting in one and seeing the fit and finish of the Bronco, climbing in and out of the drivers seat, the back seat and seeing the set up of the cargo area. Seeing one from 10 feet may tell you a little, but sitting in one and being up close answers a lot of questions that you may not realize that you have. As a Wrangler owner myself, i was looking at the bumper to see how or where additional lights could be added. The Broncos bumpers do not stick out similar to how the Wranglers does. So that is pushing me to maybe pod lights instead of bumper lights. Also i noticed that there was no front license plate bracket. As i was scanning the bumper the specialist helping me talked me through why it cant go in the middle of the front of the bumper as that is where the radar is for the systems warnings. It also made me wonder what size winch will fit in that area of the bumper with the radar box tucked in there. So if at all possible i say go over and spend a few minutes sizing up the Bronco in person.

Ugh... I need to sit in a four door!

I thought about going to the show today but didn't want to get mixed up in opening day traffic.

Smart on your part, as i went yesterday evening and the city has placed concrete barricades at several intersections along Broadway. They played havoc with the few of us on the road last night, I cant imagine what happens when baseball traffic returns to this section of downtown.

Hope the ones in Birmingham aren't roped off next week...kind of nuts I can sit in a $225K Mercedes and not a $50K Bronco that is an asshair from full scale retail production.

This is going to be a dumb question, I saw someone say in a video the badges were basically fridge magnets (I think it was TFL). Are they permanently attached to the side or are they actual magnets?

I'm the first person in line at the auto show waiting to get in.

I can't wait to see it!!!

I drove by Ballpark Village and there wasn't anything out.

They are parked on the sidewalk by drunken fish on the parking lot side. The people showing them are also driving them as their transportation while at the shows. These are not trailered mannequins. So most probably set up shortly before showtime.
