Check out this cool new Starlink mounting kit for the Bronco and Bronco Raptor. This is one that has been in the works for several months now. Been testing on the road with great success.

Mounts on the inside in the back section and bolts to the roll cage existing bolts. uses the Gen 3 Star Link system. I have been using the factory installed 110 AC inverter with the stock Star Link power supply and router and getting great connection speed. Fits right up tight to the roof. you cant even see it in the rearview mirror. You can also use a 12V power supply and plug into the 12v cigarette adapter in the back of the Bronco. Check it out. Super clean installation.

The mount has a quick release feature to remove the dish quickly and you can interchange mounts with a fixed mount you would use on a boat or RV and also a suction cup mount that you can put on the roof of a truck (maybe an F150 Raptor). Quick and easy to swap over with no tools.

Here is a little video clip of it in the Bronco Raptor.

Didn't they just launch a portable one that's the size of an iPad?
Mini Dish is coming out in a couple months yes. But its going to be reduced power compared to the current Gen 3 dish. But the Mini Dish should be cool. I will get one as soon as I can and start testing stuff with it.

So it works THROUGH the MIC top? That's cool. I wonder if it would work through fiberglass? (I have a Turn Offroad top)

Maybe a molle panel would work for the mini?

I have a hardtop (OEM) with the Trailrax TRMX over it (steel rails, aluminum crossbars). I find my Sirius goes in and out, even here in the Northeast.
1) Would this solve that?
2) Do I have to open up an account with Starlink?
3) How much does this setup cost. And if I have to pay for an account, how much is that, monthly?

Love this idea. I hope to move to Starlink when the mini comes out, and hopefully a more realistic monthly plan. Currently using FirstNet with a Sierra Wireless MG90 modem which works better than most but not everywhere...

For those of you looking at the Mini, we were as well. It's currently only bundled with the standard Starlink as a $30 a month add-on service and will cost $599. Just a heads up.

Regarding the in-cab mount, thats awesome! Fiberglass is transparent to radio waves, so this works out great.

yea this is a Gen 3 dish and that one costs like $500 for the hardware and for a plan that will work on the move you need the Roam plan which is $150 per month. you can turn it on and off as you want with no contract or anything also. This will make sure you get connection anywhere. We originally started using them when we go to Baja and there are lots of off the grid trails we run where there is no cell phone service at all for days. We link our cell phones to it and use calling over wifi and we are connected perfectly.
