Stegodon Winch? Seems too good to be true, and that always makes me question it

My guess is that English is not their native tongue.

When you need this to perform I bet you would pay 4x this amount. That is unless you just need some jeep eye candy for parking at the mall, then it is perfect.

synthetic rope is safer, and in many cases stronger, than wire cable. I've been using synthetic ropes for over 25 years in the military and off shore activities on winches/cranes etc.

Mooring lines, rigging and shot lines are one thing, especially when its two decently thick lines per bollard, but still dangerous when they (mooring lines) snap... pencil thin line that's on a cheaply made winch is another. I've seen plenty of reviews for Chinese stuff snapping and fraying after 2-3 uses

Don't nuke this lol

Someone’s always gotta make a Nuke joke

But I worked for Schlumberger after I got out of the Navy, and we used tons of these synthetic ropes in winches and for rigging. They’re far better and safer than steel cables. You’re winching a 5k lb vehicle, not a 2000 ton ship. Don’t write it off, synthetic rope is legit. Hell, what do you think kinetic ropes are!😂😂😂

Only contact info is a hotmail email. I wouldn’t buy shit from these people.
No actual reviews. All vids cut off before working review.

But that logo man.

Warn winches have their problems too, but they have a company that at least has an official warranty that you can take advantage of. I'm not aware of any winch that doesn't have a problem from time to time. And pound for pound properly sized synthetic rope is better than wire. For winching I would make sure I have certified weights on my rope though.

Byer beware for the brand listed in this thread.
