i ordered a bronco with rock rails, well the badlands comes with them is a better way of putting it. I kinda like the looks of the step rail but think the unfinished area where the rock rails attached looks sloppy/horrible. Plus the step bar instead of rock rails was not an option. I’m wondering if anyone knows if I can put both the rock rails and step rails on at the same time? After seeing so many complaints about rock chips I think the step would help eliminate or significantly reduce chip issues. I realize I can take either off/on and obviously would remove step when off roading. Thoughts?

I love the look, but they don't mount to the frame.
In the Q&A section they state that they are mounted to both the frame and pinch weld.

Unfortunately they don't actually mount to the frame. They mention the pinch weld and the chassis, but seems they are referring to the body as the chassis. Their rails use the same mounting points as the factory rock rails.

This is the best option I’ve seen.

Ford Bronco Step bar with rock rails F37E8F0D-2B12-4F09-A5AA-C8E4E9166277

Works good as a step, but there's a lot of leverage on the body (since no frame mount) if they get leaned on in rocks or big ruts. I'd be afraid to run them for what I'll be doing occasionally.

Is this what you are talking about?

I think it is less noticeable on a darker color Bronco. Here is a stock image I found of an Outer Banks with Step Rail in Anti-Matter Blue...

I am getting an Eruption Green Badlands with Sasquatch. I would like to see some actual owner photos of the tube step bars with an anti-matter blue or black Bronco to compare.

I was just about to start a similar thread. I ordered the tube step on my build. The stock photo from the accessories page shows black plugs or something covering the holes. Mine has nothing and it looks like a piece of trim fell off. Anybody have any ideas?

Yes that’s what I am taking about. They should have some trim to cover that up. I had to get the rock rails, so tube wasn’t an option, but I prefer not to drop unneeded cash for something silly like this. I guess I have to wait for a decent rock rail step mount accessory to add to the rail.
