Still no build date….question on my build

So is the parts still that are behind are the hard tops, roof rack and tow package?

If I were to remove the roof rack and tow package, do you guys think I’d get my bronco sooner? Or is it worth just waiting it out?

Short answer: The fewer add-ons you have, the less parts there are to be a constraint.

Long answer: We have no idea... we know hard tops are basically the #1... beyond that everything is a moving target.

If you need a Bronco, any Bronco, as soon as possible, the goldilocks build is a 4-door Base or BB with the soft top, 2.3 and manual.

If you can wait (and it may be a while), I say just order your dream build and let the universe do its thing.

That said, I would drop the roof rack, since that's really easy to add later on. Tow is another story and a hot topic of debate.

I have about every constraint possible with the exception of 2 door. I have been moved 5x and finally settled next week 8/5. I had a VIN since April.

I'm thinking of placing an order for a 2-door base manual trans version. The hardtop I guess would push that back, plus I do not have a reservation. Actually, to avoid hardtop defects, I don't care now if it arrives until next summer. But I will not wait until 2023. Maybe I'll place an order and see what happens, if Ford can deliver middle of next year, that would be ok.
