Still waiting after 4 months on order

While we knew it was going to be a wait for our new Bronco, I have been very disappointed in the lack of communication from our local dealership.
I called a larger dealer a few hours away to ask if switching to them would help speed up the process or move me to the back of the line.
She said it would not but that the items on my build, 2 door, hard top, trailer tow, luxury package and 2.7 were all contributing to my delay and she said it could be another 8-10 months.
Does this sound like what any of you are hearing?

You must be kidding….day 1 res….with an estimated delivery date of 3/1/2022….that will be 596 days…..if it actually shows up on 3/1/2022. Enjoy your wait time and good luck with the communications…..

I waited 349 days from the time I ordered till I received mine. That included an almost 2 month wait after mine was built. It was over 500 days from reservation date as well and that included changing to a soft top.

Lol I have had great communication with my dealership of choice and when I mean great. They gave it to me straight “I have no idea man, if the stars aligned perfectly … which they haven’t once yet. Then maybe you’ll get your car end of year”

First hour reservation here.......crickets since order. Just wait until the Lightening info starts getting out. My dealer told me yesterday they had well over 200 reservations/orders for the F150 Lightening and Ford just allocated them 6 for 2022.

I’ve only been waiting 8 months since order with a smaller dealership. I called a large volume dealer (has 63 stores) just like you and they told me to keep my current reservation with the original dealer I ordered from. The large volume dealer was upfront and said they could not get my 2 door any quicker and I would be waiting longer and go to the back of the line because they had a lot of people in front of me.

So I guess just wait and see. My local dealer got in a nice 2 door black Diamond the other day. It was a late 21 arrival that is a reservation order. So that is a glimmer of hope. Check out pic. Bummer the person didn’t get the 21 in 21 however.

I’m crawling back into my hole.

I ordered a base 2.3L hardtop on March 17, 2021. That's right it will be a year next month. Still no build date. I got lucky and snagged a mannequin but the order is still in the system as the dealer wants it for stock. So, 4 months is nothing and you won't hear anything from the dealer when they have nothing to tell you. In the meanwhile, check out this video from last weekend of all the Broncos sitting and waiting for some part.

Reserved my 2dr. Wildtrak 8/29/20. Changed reservation to order on 10/27/21. Hope to get it sometime in 2023. While I am waiting, I ordered a Maverick truck on 6/27/21 that I just picked up 1/26/22. Nice little truck.
