Stinger Sub Box with a JL Audio 12TW3? Will it fit?

It did not fit, without modifying the box. I didn't want to do that, maybe others do. The screw holes wouldn't have lined up either.

Anything will "fit" if you modify it.

Yes, understood. Tolerances wise it may vary as well to where it would fit as the dimensions do align upon review. Overall a minor/common modification if someone wishes to use the speaker. But for those that don't want to deal with that, there's other options as you mention. I ultimately went a different route with the infinity shallow 12" that works great.

FWIW I had the stinger box modified to fit the JL TW3 before I realized JL doesn’t make a durable speaker grille for it. The only one they have is a soft mesh that sticks out a lot further than the Phoenix Gold grille does. I guess it’s minor but something to consider. I ended up switching back to the standard setup.

My guy got this one in.
Seems to be quite solid.

It’ll keep the dog from hitting it for sure

I love the clean look of it on the tailgate.
I've now replaced all the B&O and added the 12". I'm happy with the results. The B&O is fine for most but I wanted something better.
