Finished the install of the Stinky Fab Racing (SFR) @StinkBug Sledgehammer rear bumper. This thing is tight. Was able to get custom red powdercoat on the recovery shackles, so got a little color pop. Completely compatible with parking sensors. Mounts @Baja Designs S1 Flush hooked up as reverse/switch lights using @SPVPARTS harnesses. (Sidney will treat you right over there- ask her about the "Rando Discount") Also removed the OEM third brake light and replaced with a Rigid Ind Rear Chase Pod Light Kit (Again, SPV and Sidney). Added a @Mountains2Metal Tailgate Accessory Shelf for a little extra gas. Originally had a @Turn Offroad license plate relocation bracket, but due to the 37s blocking the plate, had to replace with the @DV8offroad version to clear the spare. My wife says I have "Two hands left" (Czech saying) when it comes to projects like this. But gotta say, every one of the videos/instructions made installing everything easy-peasy.

Rando discount! Haha! You're killing me, Smalls! 😂

I absolutely LOVE the way it all turned out!! Thanks for sharing the pics of the finished project. I'm glad I was able to assist, and I'm here for you with your special Rando discount if you ever need anything else. Lol 😉

Cheers!

I like the looks of it. I am curious if anyone has had on for a while. How does their powder coating hold up., protection from crash, happy with it?

While I have only had it installed for a week, got to say that the quality of the powdercoat to my abuse during install has been amazing. The coating is evenly applied with no apparent drips, runs, nor thin spots. @StinkBug recommends having powdercoating done at your location rather than by his contractor due to shipping concerns. I was unable to find a local shop that did the work for his price, so did a very detailed inspection upon receipt. Bumper was packed well and protected from all damage. The quality of the welds is top notch and the attention to detail is obvious down to small holes for zip tie retention. Based on the thickness and security of this bumper, it is going to do a very good job of protecting your Bronco. It is solid. Pulling off the OEM bumper reinforces that Ford went cheap. ZERO protection other than to act as a scuff protector. I have had 2 previous Raptor with aftermarket builds, but never did any of the work by myself. So this is my first chance to see the quality of the OEM products up close and from the inside. So far, every OEM part (Roof rack, rails, bumpers, hot/cold pipes, air intake, etc, etc, etc.) I have pulled off the Bronco appears cheap, made by the lowest bidder, and generally flimsy when compared to everything I have installed thus far. I have no problem giving the Stinky Fab Racing Sledgehammer rear bumper a solid five stars (5/5) for quality, price, appearance, etc, etc.

I've had the whole thing for almost a year. I had the powdercoating done myself; the skid plates have that zinc coating. It's all help up very well. My only complaint was that the mounting holes are the skid plates were too exact and that's been a problem for me. However, Dallas said he's fixed that since my order.

Thanks for the great review, always stoked to see our stuff out there in the wild!

We've got a great powdercoating shop that we work with regularly, and like most things you buy from a US manufacturer, their quality is far better than any of the imported stuff you'll find on Amazon. The main reason we recommend ordering in bare steel is simply that no matter how good a job the powdercoater does, UPS is often better at damaging it. Often getting it done locally in another state is cheaper as well, and gives you the opportunity to choose your own color.

Yeah, my local guy wanted $600 for the job. Hard pass. Your guy did an awesome job.
