I put some bigger shoes on this whip. I was going to level it but decided not to. I put this size on because it was as large as I was comfortable with on the 7.5 Big Bend rim. The crash bars didn't rub but I removed the rears anyways.

Zero rub in full lock and full lock reverse. The tires clear the first crash bar by 1.5 inches and the control arm by 1.25 inches.

B

Edit: FYI Tires are nitto ridge grapplers that nitto specs at:
33.86"11.26"

Nice Bronco! Just having larger tires really changes the look of your vehicle. Will you have the speedo/odo recalibrated? Who does that? Your Ford dealer? I was thinking a slightly larger tire, than the standard BB tires, like a 275R70/17. I have never swapped to larger tires before. I'm looking for some middle ground for tire size, as I'm not sure I want the Sasquatch package (it's more of a budget issue, but I like how the 35s look).

As far as the speedo goes I'm not sure if a dealer will do it. In a few months there should be some aftermarket tune companies that can calibrate for the size difference. This BB has the 2.3 and it did not make a noticeable difference in power loss to go to the large tires. Fyi these tires were $305/ea and the shop gave me a $350 credit for the stock Bridgestone Duelers. The total was $1061 for the new tires. Probably the least expensive way to get it looking like a proper Bronco.

to me that tire is perfect! nice height and for me the best part is the width, more of the traditional skinny look

Thank you for sharing! I ordered a BB, 2.7L, MIC, Tow Package, in black, and this is the only upgrade I was planning on putting new set of tires and/or wheels on.

I think if I would have put 35 11.50s on I would have used the 1" level. There's so much room this one is probably going to stay stock.

No issue with the almost 34s? I really want to do 285/75/17 on my OBX on Vision Fury rims.

Zero. Some dude put 315 70 17 on his base and has minimal touching as well. Just know your wheel offset will effect how the tire sits. You can see offset differences at tiresize.com

I'm probably not the best at mpg cause I drive it like a Porsche. But it was 17-20 depending on how it was driven before and not much has changed.

Thanks for sharing OP. I’m a little nervous I’ll be close to rub on front end crash bars. I’ve ordered 295/70 with +12 off set. Obviously no rub with crash bar is ideal.

Already wishing I went modular bumper for tougher look and ease of removing end caps to pull crash bars. Looked like bumper needs to come off to pull bars on non SAS OBX??
