Stock Window Tint % Percentages ?

From what I've read on here the rear passenger door windows meter at 15% while the rear cap on hardtop meter at 32%.

What do the stock front windows and rear hatch window meter at? I'm talking about all the trims except the base which has no tint.

Getting my 2 front windows tinted in 2 days. Going to either match back passenger ( 4dr) or 1 shade lighter. Not sure.

I do know that there is some factory tint on fronts

FYI - the "privacy" tint in the rear and back windows is just dye in the glass and there is no heat/UV protection. I am in SC and did all sides and rear in 15 and 70 on the front windshield using Ceramic IR film and even in the summer with the hardtop, it stays relatively cool. That was critical for me since I went with the black leather interior.

Fronts are tinted 20%

Had ours done this last Saturday. Jist the front doors and a strip on the ‘shield. My guys meter had the rear doors at 14% and hard top at 28%. We matched the front to the rear doors.

tint all the windows. Factory tints is a dye in the glass and thus no UV or heat rejection.

So to confirm the rear window (the one with the defroster lines) is around 28%?

I'm asking because I want to tint the rear window so vehicle's headlights won't blind me.

Base Model comes with ZERO tint on it.

I had mine tinted at the dealer, 35% on the door windows, and 20% on the cap. Wish I went a little darker on the cap.

Your profile says you ordered a Base. Base is untinted. Clear glass.

Getting mine tinted now to match backs..Hope it’s not too dark! I got old eyes
