We got our first real-world look at the 2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition, running on the streets of Dearborn.

The tribute to Bill Stroppe’s Bronco that won the 1969 Baja 1000—painted in a tricolor theme of Atlas Blue, Oxford White, and Code Orange, comes together for an eye catching package built upon the 2-door Bronco Wildtrak.

It’s enjoying the seasonably warm weather in the Michigan sun while being put through its paces on the public roads, in preparation for it’s on-sale date in January 2025.

That glare off the tailgate can be a real B-I-T-C-H in the desert... 🤐
It’s more of a question as to why the tailgate doesn’t continue the color scheme. The grey seems random and out of place. The hood I get because of the OG Stroppe but there wasn’t a tailgate so why did they choose matte grey.

The Black/Blue/Red/White thing going on when looking at it from the rear is a bit busy, but other than that I kinda dig it. Might have looked better if the tailgate was a blue like the top, or red to match the sides - you could still matte it if glare were your concern.

I’m probably alone on this, but I am not a fan of the color scheme.
You're definitely not alone on that.
I don't really mind it I guess, but I would certainly never buy it.

I get the glare but keep the color scheme and throw a matte ppf over the whole tailgate, or and hear me out, who cares about the glare, we’re using the gloss paints all over the desert and the people buying these editions are going to park them next to their Gen 1/2 at the car meet and then put it back in their garage until next Saturday.

I think it's cool that they did it, but it's just an appearance package. Could've slapped the live action Ranger Raptor suspension and 37's or something on it, but I guess that wouldn't have been as easy to get through whatever testing Ford has to do.
