I searched the forum to see what people are using for a good stubby (or shorter) antenna, but don't see preferred vendors. Those of you who switched, what brand are you using? Additionally, is it worse/better/equiv. than the OEM? The OEM is too tall and hitting the garage and every low hanging branch. Thanks.

Cravenspeed, been using them for years on a variety of vehicles.

It's worse than stock but better than nothing.

No issues with nearby stations, but if you have any you listen to that are a long ways off you'll likely lose them.

I have the CravenSpeed and FM stations that were weak before now are hardly listenable. I still get them, but with worse static/interference. Definitely worse performance, but I rarely listen to the radio, so it stays on. Been great otherwise. This is the one on my rig:

I bought mine at the dealership parts department. No change in reception vs oem.

I looked at a lottttt. Hi end, low end before changing. At first I was set on the stubby. Wanted to eliminate the whole look of the old antenna. But then I saw a comment from someone saying that aesthetically it didn’t look proportional to the vehicle. That changed it instantly for me personally. So I went on a hunt for a 13” height one. About the height of the windshield approx. ….maybe just a little shorter. I have not lost reception it’s is exactly the same if not better, and so far so good. It’s about half the size of the original OEM. There’s so many out there that you can change it up anytime you want. I also luv the squared off top. I know everyone has their own personal taste. But this is the one I have for now.

I actually like this one alot! Can’t seem to locate it though. Can you post a link?
