Noticed this slipped into the fine print, that Navigation requires a subscription.

Assuming that's because of the enhanced features, but not a big fan of the on-going monthly cost for my car to the manufacturer.

In my opinion, it just depends on whether Android Auto or Apple Carplay is integrated. If either is available, you can just forgo the nav option altogether

Yes, just kind of a bummer that you won't get to store your off-road trail maps without subscribing.
