Hi all!

I took ownership of my 2021 Base 4dr Sasquatch 2.7 Bronco in November of 2021. I’m just shy of 2k miles (about 1,975) and the other day while on the road my shifting became irregular, power dropped substantially (extremely slow off the line, acceleration very sluggish, hills were challenging for acceleration), and the engine bay began making some… electronic noises?

This was accompanied by the following error messages and dash lights. Earliest I could get it in to my local dealer is the end of the month, so just playing a waiting game. Anyone have experience with these? Curious what the issue is beyond these messages and whether or not it’s an easy fix.

i did use my a/c for the very first time and am wondering if perhaps it caused some electrical shorts, but that’s probably just me trying to explain the sudden issues haha.

Thanks! Hopefully this doesn’t become commonplace amongst owners!

UPDATE:
engine code below. i could not see or feel any loose clamps, though as someone inexperienced I’m sure there are more I did not check.

eerrr engine code didn’t load: EF06A21273131023

UPDATE 2:
Ford has messaged me back, asking for additional info. Waiting to hear back (03/08/22 7:10 AM)

UPDATE 3:
Ford called and gave me a number to call once the Bronco is dropped off at the dealer, so that they may expedite the process at the shop and gain further information on the issues noted above. Next update will likely be the information I gather from the dealer/Ford per diagnostics, what’s caused the issue, and the solution. I’ll give as much info in case this happens to another owner!

Your rig went in to limp mode, to protect itself. DO NOT DRIVE IT! Have towed to dealer. Please report back after diagnosis.
I was thinking of towing it to the dealer as well, now I think I will!

There is a white sticker inside the engine with a barcode on it. It will have details about where the engine was assembled and some other codes. Post a picture of that if possible. It's pretty much right in the center of the engine bay.
Ok, I will do so when I get home, unfortunately it is sitting in the garage while I drive my beater rig haha.

Also, service date is the 28th, so I’ll update this thread with diagnostic results once that’s happened. Earliest I could find in my area.
View this thread for our concerns. The info for checking your engine code is in the main post..

This is my concern as well!! I’m really hoping it’s not. I’ll update this thread once I’ve had a chance to check the code.

Have you checked to make sure all hosing and clamps are tight.

I’ve heard of the air intake etc. hosing coming loose and causing very similar symptoms. Would throw a code as well.
