Sun Strip or Whole Windshield Tint?

I do know it is not legal in Florida. A buddy of mine had his done and ended up having to get the car towed after getting pulled over (officer would not let him drive it).

I always have the windshield tinted but I live in Arizona. However, I use the almost clear stuff that just blocks the heat. 3m was the best but the heat destroys it in about 4 years. People who tint the windshield and side windows dark are just dangerous. I bought a car with side windows dark and had to roll down the windows at night to see. Forget tickets, what about liability if you get in an accident?

My whole windshield on all my vehicles is always 40%. It is illegal but I have never been bothered about it.

Illegal to tint below the AS1 (whatever it is) line in our state, and we can't tint darker then 43% in the front dark as you can go everywhere else though

I love doing the dark eyebrows. Unfortunately when I had my Super Duty done it wouldn't stick for shit because of the black dot pattern on the glass. I can't recall if Broncos have anything similar but I'll be leary of doing it if they do.

I've been in cars with dark tint in the back and you can't see out of it at all. Maybe backup cameras and cross traffic alerts will help a bit...

My state of Illinois allows a 6" strip at the top of the windshield so that is probably what I'll get. I find it quite helpful when the sun visors don't quite reach a certain area.

Me and my wife both prefer the whole windshield to be tinted. The Bronco will get 20% on the sides, and 35% on the entire windshield.

I did the strip. I wear polarized glasses and doing the ceramic on the whole windshield will give you a halo effect.

It's not legal to tint below the AS-1 line in Florida. That being said, window tint is a secondary offense in Florida so you can't be stopped solely for your tint. Buyer beware though...

Honestly, I can see better in the tinted out RAM, than the non tinted 1997 Tahoe we have. It’s all in the headlights.
I’ve had windshield tint on a Camaro, Trailblazer, Cruze, Escalade, Silverado, LS swapped Lincoln LS with 20% on the windshield and 5 all around…that was the only one i had to roll my windows down at night to make a turn. Lol.
