For those of you that have a Jeep with a Sunrider top - once the Sunrider is installed, can you later put the freedom panels back on after removal of the Sunrider top without a lot of work? For my Bronco, I was hoping to have the Sunrider in the summer and then put the hardtop panels back on during the winter months.

Thanks!

The sun rider is the front part of the soft top that flips back to expose the front 2 seats a portion of the back seats. Once retracted the whole soft top can be folded down and stored between the tailgate and spare mounted on the rear swing out door.

The hard top has a freedom panel option where the 2 front panels are removable however, the rear portion of the hard top remains affixed unless unbolted and removed.

There are a few plastic door surrounds that are required to install the soft top and these are removed when the hard top is in use.
I hope that helps...

The Sunrider pairs with the hard top. It is not part of the full soft top.

This is one of the Bronco accessories that we should be able to buy at some point. Bestop WILL NOT be selling them directly to Bronco owners. Ford dealer exclusive part for who knows how long.

I love the design. Keep the hard top back on all year, and exchange the front two panels like a convertible in the summer.

I have always known the sunrider to the fold back portion of the soft top. And just learned that BesTop makes a foldable portion that replaces the Freedom panels that pairs with the hard top and is referred to by the same name. (y)

I kind of want one of these. It would be perfect for Florida winter and spring.

Yes! @sanford How hard is it to switch them out? Do you know?

WHOA! FLANNEL WARNING!!!

Please, some of us have a sensitivity to this type of eyeball abuse.

@wylieone46 - if you can put it on in 10-15 minutes, you can take it off in the same timeframe; it's designed for it.

I am going to assume that this will only be a thing for the front panelswhen released for the Bronco?

Thank you @Squatch. While it is a great installation video, it doesn't show the steps to put the factory panels back on. That is what I am most curious about. I have seen the red 'fishing' Bronco concept with this top on it and it looks sweet!
