Was doing a trip from Los Angeles area out to Bakersfield, CA and reset my trip meter right before leaving. Pleasantly surprised! This trip was out & back with some local driving around Bakersfield. Same highway route each way, with a 4200 foot high mountain pass along the route. 91 premium used.

Eco mode, cruising at 70-75MPH in 5th gear (don't really use 6th, since I feel it lugs too much). Sport mode solely when off the highway.

How the heck did you pull that off? I did a 450 mile round trip to Houston and back this weekend and pulled 18mpg. Normal mode, going 75 in the highway.

Job well done

Where is the setting to see MPG? I tabbed through the gauges using my steering wheel and did not see one that tracks my MPG... I have base bronco with 7MT as well. Thanks!

I can get over 21mpg driving conservative and as bad as 16mpg at 80mph in a headwind, per the computer.

It’s possible. I’ve got a non-Squatch 2.3 OBX. Boston to NY and back, almost all Highway, no traffic, Eco mode, set the ACC to 70 MPH, averaged about 25 MPG. Day to day, I average in the 21ish.

Maybe it’s my heavy 33in KO2s and being so close to sea level too. Turbo motors love that thin air! I think I’ve touched 20 once but I’m a solid 18mpg city or highway.

Checking in.. 35s with 2.3 manual, at 3k altitude.. Don't think I've ever seen it above 20 mpg. More often it is 18+/- running 89.

I’m usually in the 20mpg range but have pulled one tank that was 22mpg.

That is just over 400 miles when the light comes on. Also around $100.00 fill up lately with premium.

Four door badlands in normal mode with every option minus the hard top(Lux, leather, tow, Sasquatch, etc). Does not seem to matter between around town and hwy for my particulate area.

I think theres something to him leaving it in 5th and not being in boost.

He could have had a tail wind each way, but think usually wind in CA flows N to S if any in that part.
