Hey Bronco6G! I thought I'd make my first forum post. Thanks to @wilbersk for the rear bumper and @SVCOFFROAD for making it, I wish I could get the front now! This thing is minimalistic, offers good clearance, and has perfect welds all around! It slightly reminds me of my old Tacoma bumper that I miss. Pictures and my install video with a detailed look at the bumper below!

Installation was straightforward. 4 bolts off, unclip 2 sensors, remove the old bumper, install the new bumper, and thread in 4 bolts. And then if you have the hitch and sensors, swap those out. I made life harder by routing the sensor harness through the frame for a cleaner look to hide the wires. Only small thing is the plate light didn't click in without a minor edit. Not sure if it was the thickness of the metal where it clips or if the connector was too thick and would hit the inside of the bumper, but I just filled down the light side clips to accommodate the thicker metal. Thanks for reading!

I'm digging that bumper too - good choice. Also love the pup - breed?

For $1500 the rear bumper should be held on by more than 4 bolts. I learned the hard way that you need more mounting points to use the bumper d-rings. Glad you put the factory recovery point back on, I wouldn't use the bumper.

Really? I once got my peterbilt stuck in deep mud loaded with walnut logs (40,000 lbs) I hooked up the trusty bronco to BOTH rear D-rings and spun all 4 tire on dry pavement and the pete would NOT budge...

So we hooked up another 4x4 truck in front of the Bronco, and attached BOTH front D-rings to the trucks rear bumper.

BOTH trucks spun all 4 on dry pavement and BARELY pulled out the peterbilt.

The forces the Broncos Frame and attachment points had to be 50,000 lbs or more. essentially pulling the bronco appart from both ends.... No breakage, no distorted parts, Not even the bumper alignment was off. It's the MOMENT you yank and jerk on things, is when it snaps off 4 bolts, and does other carnage.

I am talking about the aftermarket bumper d-ring mounts. 4 bolts isn't enough support.

@TacoedBars Could you figure why they make you buy the hitch if you want sensor holes? The hitch they force on you to maintain sensors looks almost identical to factory hitch.

The 2 center sensors mount via brackets that bolt on to the hitch they provide. So the hitch they provide has mounting tabs for the brackets & sensors.
