Swap Badlands headlights and tail lights with Base model?

If I have a Badlands, would I be able to swap head and taillights with a base owner?

I know, I know it's weird. But I like the amber and more old school look. Any ideas if this is possible?

My guess:

Headlights: probably as they are both LED, probably share the same plug-in

Tailights: no, and I believe LEGEND has stated the tailight plug ins are different. The high ends are LED while the low tier are not.

They said the plugs were different, but the pictures looked close enough; nothing an aftermarket adapter couldn't resolve.

No can do. We've been thru this. It makes NO sense to most of us....but is what it is.

I could be remembering this wrong, but I think @Rick Astley posted about people trying this with Rangers and it being a massive pain/expense.

To the OP, once you use modern LED headlights I don't think you will go back, no matter how much nostalgia you currently have.

The only people that do not like them are the oncoming traffic.

The Ranger taillights have the BLIS sensors in them making them so expensive.

The Bronco BLIS sensors are separate.

Also, is this the thread where all the newer forum members spend 7 pages figuring out and rehashing what we concluded months ago?
