Anyone know if you can still easily swap the grill out if you have the safari bar installed or does the safari bar need to come off first?

The bar sits pretty close to the grill, I'd be surprised if you could.

Why don't you try it and let us know?

The bar is only 8 bolts and comes off in under a minute, so it's not like it's a big deal either way.

Just tried. Bar needs to come off first. Not enough room for the clips on the back of the grill to get past the headlights.

First time to remove the bar and, as mentioned elsewhere, bumper bolts are definitely Torx Plus 40. I had never heard of it and apparently no one else has either as it’s not carried at most places. Order on Amazon. I found one a Northern Tool. Bolts are on tight and a good chance of stripping with a T40. Once you have the right bit, no problem at all.

Thanks! Helpful to know if I swap grills with a wildtrak owner to make sure I take the safari bar off before meeting up with them.
