Lots of people apparently like the Black Diamond Grille - I absolutely loath it.

Assuming the Grilles truly are interchangeable I would be 10000% down to swap for a badlands Grille.

Not sure anyone on earth would actually want to do this - but if you do, hollar at me.

I am in SE Michigan and should take delivery in 2021

I might be interested in that swap. I think base/black diamond grills look more like the original. Of course we both have to get our Broncos first

I’m also in SE MI hoping for a 21 BD delivery.. I like the grill openings but will be plastidipping it
Bronze+metallizer. It’s a fairly cheap and reversible mod if I don’t like it. If you’re interested in going that route we could coordinate when I paint it.

I'm sure your going to be able to buy any of them plus the aftermarket design from what we are seeing on that recent build from RTR. I am going to research different types of durable paint. I have painted a grill with normal spray paint on past cars ive owned. Even with primer the paint chipped. Someone told me today to use enamel based spray paint. I am getting a big bend and intend on murdering it out. Will post results once I have key FOB in hand. I will paint the bead lock rings front grill and MIC top. May have that top done professionally. We shall see.

There's like a 50% chance I may do this. Im gonna look at the BD grill again Saturday to see the possibility of painting the outer perimeter body color and center section white.

I never looked at any other model because I always knew I wanted a badlands. After reading this thread, I just went and looked at all the grills. Jeeze. The grills on Black Diamond and lower are hideous. Looks like a different vehicle. I'm surprised Ford didn't carry a more consistent styling for all grills. It is such a critical factor in the overall look of the vehicle. This washes out the branding a little bit.

I'm not a jeep guy, but I certainly recognize the marketing genius in that standard grill config. o|||||||o
