Swapped Base Steering Wheel to Badlands Leather Steering Wheel

I bought the BB leather wheel from ruxer parts with the b6g discount. It was $300. Easy install. As stated, no puller needed. Personally I don’t love it. I’m used to VW steering wheels with nice smooth nappa leather. The leather on the bronco steering wheel is very meh. What I did like with this solution vs. sending my wheel to Dallas custom for a wrap was no down time. Sure $300 was more than the salvage deal but $300 is way less than the $3-4k premium from base to BB and I don’t value the window tint or vanity mirror lights very much

I was just wondering as I am looking for different things. I used to go to the boneyard a lot to get different things. But at the moment, items are scarce

Another option is to lace a leather cover yourself.

I do not, but did the swap on my dad’s base with no issues.

i found it. Part number for leather wheel is
M2DZ-3600-BB

But it's on national backorder with no ETA.

update i found one on ebay. it's ok. but i sent my plastic one off to be redone by dallas custom wheels. Hopefully get it back next week or the week after.
