I don't know how close the black leather and the black MGV will be, but I really
Want the rear cup holders for my kids.

Do you think I could purchase the arm rest "eventually" and swap it in?

4 door mgv doesn't have cup holder in the back for what ever reason.

I don't think there's even an armrest in MGV. So you can't swap.

I maybe mistaken, but I am almost sure on the 2DR's they had cup holders by the side windows does the 4DR not have those? Or did they get nixed?

Netted pockets not real cup holders--- and my kids are not the nearest/most careful

No cupholders in the back of the 4DR with cloth or MGV. Just the fold-down armrest with the leather seats.

maybe you should just consider going to your local upholstery and trim shop and see what they can do. adding a couple of cupholder into a fold down armrest does not appear to be any huge endeavor...

I gotcha. Just hit me why that wouldn't work in a 4DR because you're not in the cargo area near the window trim like the 2DR. Sometimes it takes me a minute but I get there. :p

I agree. And it's kind of counterintuitive to put cup holders in the 2DR for people like me who will rarely have passengers in the back. Yet leave them out for the 4DR.
